Allergies

An allergy is defined as an abnormal physical reaction to substances called allergens or antigens.  Pollen, house dust mites, mold spores, animal dander, foods, drugs, dyes, cosmetics, perfumes, and stinging insects are common sources of allergens.  These allergens can enter the body in different ways:  pollens, house dust, and mold spores are inhaled; food allergens are swallowed; poison ivy and cosmetics produce symptoms in allergic people by touch: certain drugs and insect venoms enter the body by injection.

The immune system produces antibodies as a defense against infection and other diseases.
In allergic people, excessive antibodies are produced and these antibodies react with the
allergens, releasing inflammatory chemicals, such as histamine, and cause allergic symptoms.
These reactions may be immediate, as in an acute hypersensitivity reaction, or delayed.
Foods and molds can typically cause delayed reactions, even 48 to 72 hours after the
exposure.

Recent statistics show that over 60 million people (about 25% of the U.S. population)
suffer from some form of allergy.  Allergy symptoms are responsible for more visits to
the doctor's office than any other single disease in this country. .

The conventional western medicine approaches to test for allergies are skin testing or RAST which is from a blood sample.  Dr. Linda uses energetic approaches to test for allergies:  muscle response testing or electrodermal screening.  The former results in the muscle weakening when there is a blocked energy flow.  The latter uses a sophisticated instrument to determine when the energy flow is blocked.

The allergy removal technique used at the Complete Wellness Center combines approaches from multiple energetic methods to eliminate allergies.  The original energetic method was developed by Dr. Nambudripad (NAET) and has been modified by many other physicians.  To improve the effectiveness of NAET, it is best to eliminate the allergic response to allergens in a specific order.  To do this, allergy patients should complete three treatments in order:  1.) blood/organs, 2.) pheonolics, and 3.) food groups: fats, proteins, and carbohydrates prior to specific allergens.  When this has been done up to 4 allergens can be eliminated in one session.

The treatment involves determining the following:  organ, essential fatty acid, heavy metal, emotions, color, and sound.  The patient is in contact with each of the above along with the allergens being eliminated.  During this process, that patient is listening to a tuning fork.  A laser set at specific neurologic frequencies is shining on the spine.  While the laser is on, an energetic modulator is used to go up and down the spine to activate the autonomic nervous system.  With the laser still shining, a series of acupuncture points on the arms and legs are activated to open the meridian energy channels flowing through the body.  Following the treatment, you will be tested to make certain your muscle response test is now strong to the allergen(s) you were treated for.   To make this most effective, you are asked to avoid the allergen(s) for 5 hours.

This treatment involves multiple stimulations to your body, but is painless. It is extremely powerful and effective because it is causing changes that will affect your entire physiology.  Side effects are uncommon, but may include headaches, sweating, nausea, emotional release, etc.

Historically, this type of treatment lasts indefinitely for 85% of patients.  For those patients who are not adequately treated by this method, Dr. Linda has other therapies to reprogram the immune system so allergens no longer provoke allergic reactions.
